As the wheel of the year turns and the crispness of fall settles in, join me for this cozy, soul-soothing, beginner-friendly creative ritual to welcome the new season and reconnect with your inner peace.

In this 1-hour online art class, we’ll gently create a serene fall landscape together, featuring a calm lake, a forest, and a cozy cabin in the distance. Through guided prompts and simple techniques, you’ll learn how to capture the feeling of calm on paper.

We’ll begin with a gentle opening invocation to honour the autumn equinox portal, followed by a brief journalling session to help anchor what you’re calling in, before we move into creating.

Absolute beginners, anyone who hasn’t picked up a pencil in years, or advanced creatives are all welcome. Together, we’ll cover:

• Setting up your scene with a horizon line

• Simple, stylized trees and natural forms

• Techniques for shading water and adding movement

• Optional cozy cabin details to personalize your scene

I’ll be drawing with you live via overhead camera, guiding you step-by-step while leaving plenty of space for your own creative interpretation. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s peaceful play!

This is more than a drawing class—it’s a soft ritual of slowing down. It’s a frequency that will set the tone for the new season.

What to bring:

• A pencil (any kind other than mechanical), eraser, and paper or a sketchbook

• A comfortable, quiet space with a hard surface to work on
